Description
Let me start by saying that Mathushek was designated "The most durable pianos in the world." Frederick Mathushek was the creator and developer of the "Over stringing" of a piano per Piano Age ( The blue book of Pianos). The instruments were of a very high standard quality containing many valuable, distinctive features, which were most valuable commented upon by the Scientific American in the issue of September 22, 1900. Mathushek Pianos are very well built. Restored this piano is superior to new similarly priced pianos in playability. The grain in the wood in this vintage piano is very close together. This wood with tight rings is more resonate and has much better tone quality than new pianos. Most of this quality wood is gone forever because when this tree was growing 200 years ago our forrest were very dense and trees had to struggle to grow. If you are looking for a quality vintage piano to invest in restoration and preservation for future generation to enjoy, this is your instrument. This piano is located in Kansas City, MO. I will pay for shipping at the BUY IT NOW PRICE within the U.S.
