Originally built in 1936 with serial number 288502 during Steinway's "golden era", this tremendous sounding piano has been newly refinished in a beautiful hand-rubbed ebony satin, and was restored a few years back with new strings and tuning pins, new dampers, knuckles and action felt, reshaped hammers and refinished original soundboard and bridge. The action itself is original Steinway and in wonderful condition.  Keytops are plastic with a dry, tactile feel like an ivory key.  It is in absolutely excellent condition from top to bottom, has a killer tone and will also include a matching bench.
