Description
You are bidding on an original unproduced 88 page screenplay that I wrote back in 2004. It is a 30 something mob drama with some great twists and turns. Basic plot line: 3 thirtysomething mobsters in N.Y. commit a crime in which they are forced to leave and re-locate and lie low. They choose a midwest college town and find that it is not easy to leave their criminal ways behind. They encounter a group of friends and trouble follows. The beginning and the ending are mind-blowing. I've basically used every resource that I have trying to get this screenplay read and produced. I now have a small child and other responsiblities that require me to put my dream aside. It is utterly imposible to get your foot in the door of Hollywood from a small town in Iowa, without having the necessary connections. A friend of mine passed away earlier this week, very unexpected. Kevin Glasgow was only 30 years old, one of the last true good guys in this world. His family does not have much money and I would love to help them out if I could. I myself have limited funds, so I am offering to donate 10% of what my screenplay sells for to Kevin's family and the foundation for Kevin to help out with necessary costs. The winner of this screenplay can do what they wish, produce it themselves, or try to sell it off on their own. Enclosed is the Documentation of Registration with the Writers Guild of America.
