Description
Huss & Dalton Custom 00-SP Adirondack/Brazilian   In my opinion the 12 fret 00 guitar is the sweetest sounding guitar there is.  The more you play up the neck the sweeter it gets.  By joining the body at the 12 fret, it allows the bridge to be positioned at a more resonant spot on the sound board.  If you go to a bigger body, you start to loose the highs and a smaller body looses the lows.  After all the Classical guitar is also a 12 fret 00.   All you need to do is ask anyone who has played a Huss & Dalton 00 and they will tell you that they make the Best 00 out there today. What you see here is the BEST of the BEST ! A 12 fret 00, finger style connoisseur’s, delight. The woods used in making this guitar are the Holy Grail of guitar woods. Artist grade Adirondack or Red Spruce is used for the top.  It is a creamy white color with fine grain, from their private stash.  Adirondack is what gives those sought after old Martins that special vintage sound. The Brazilian was hand selected by their supplier at my request.  It has very close straight grain with just a touch of spider grain used in the middle of the back for an artistic touch.  Density is what Brazilian brings to the mix that provides that sparkling brilliance of sound that no other wood does.  This wood is as dense as it gets.  Just look at the close grain spacing.   BLING Is the icing on the wood, so to speak, that makes this ONE only guitar, a keepsake for generations to come. Premium Paua Abalone is used to surround the top and for the rosette. A Martin Style Torch head inlay focuses your eye on the Ebony peg head. Waverly/Sloane bronze tuners with Ebony buttons compliment the Martin Style, squared off, peg head design with traditional volute.  Martin Style 42 Snowflake inlays adorn the fret board. Highly Flamed Koa binds the entire guitar, even the end of the fret board. Traditional Pyramid bridge. A 1 13/16” nut width and special thin neck profile makes for effortless playing. 24.9" scale, 19 3/8" body length, 3 7/8" sound hole, 4"depth, 14 1/8" lower bout, 2 5/16" saddle spacing and radiused top. Lacquer finish with no aging toner. Tough it is, to describe sound to someone, but be assured that you have never played a guitar that sounds this good! Don’t be fooled by its small size, it is very loud and tonally magnificent. The condition is NEW. As it came from H&D with NO issues. Born October last, end pin not installed and still with original strings. Comes in a deluxe H&D Yellow Tweed case.   Some might consider the price high, but it is much lower than you could ever buy it from a dealer considering the over $11000 retail price of the guitar and certainly far less than the $20000 H&D OM that is on Ebay.  With the low value of the dollar, it’s a bargain to the Euro world. Consider that your money is actually loosing value in the bank, in today’s high inflation/low interest environment. Buy an investment that will make you smile.  This guitar will continue to increase in value, due to the quality and scarcity of the woods used to make it.   Payment by Certified funds only and buyer to pay for actual shipping charges.  Foreign buyers will have to pay by Bank Wire transfer in USD . Customs Declaration is required by law to be at the selling price. Please ask any questions before buying it.  I guarantee the description. The sale is final.    THX for looking
